Pokedata API Terms

We are excited to share the Pokedata API with our fellow collectors and hobbyists! Use of the Pokedata API and Pokedata's Data are subject to the following terms and conditions. Please read on to understand what the acceptable use cases are. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms in addition to our general terms and privacy policy.

Who can use the Pokedata API?

Our current offering, Pokedata Platinum, is for individuals and not for any business or commercial entity.

We typically make exceptions for content creators given proper attribution and credit. Reach out to us via email to get an exception in writing.

If you are a business, please reach out to us via email. We do plan to support commercial use cases in the near future and would love to gather your input as we work towards a commercial API.

Users are required to be of legal age to form a binding contract with Pokedata (Browse LLC).

Users are required to have valid and up to date contact details at all times to use the API.

What can I do with the API?

Pokedata (Browse LLC) grants you, subject to your complete and ongoing compliance with the API Terms, a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, and revocable license solely to access and use the APIs as expressly permitted under and in accordance with the API Terms. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Pokedata (Browse LLC).

The current offering of Pokedata Platinum is limited to non-commercial and personal use.
Examples of non-commercial use cases:

Using pokedata to maintain your personal excel sheet

Using pokedata to develop alerts or widgets for your personal use

Using pokedata to research trends and make personal purchasing decisions

You agree to only access (or attempt to access) APIs described in the Documentation.
You cannot sell, lease, or sublicense the APIs or access thereto or derive revenues from the use or provision of the APIs, whether for monetary gain or not unless there is express written approval from Pokedata (Browse LLC).
You cannot use the APIs in any manner that is competitive to Pokedata (Browse LLC) or its affiliates.
You cannot redistribute Data from the Pokedata API, website, or application for any reason.
